When you are in a valley the mountains seem huge, but when standing at the top everything seems smaller, and the reality of what we see shows us this world is filled with mountains. We go up, we come down, we move on to the next one.
My thoughts have a huge impact on my photography. Whether it is a positive quote to get me through the day, a book I have read in the past, song I may have heard, even a feeling I may have had. Ansel Adams covered that in a quote.
"You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
When I read that quote so many things can be applied to it. Story upon story of my past that got me to where I am today. Some may say in sarcasm that I lived my whole life just to be able to take a photo, that is fine, using a camera is part of who I am. I think most people would enjoy reading my thoughts as well, if I ever get the courage to start writing them on a consistent basis.
Here is a thought! For years I had a facebook page that just stopped growing and was at a stand still, so I removed it. So if you are here how about going over there and giving it a like or follow? You can share it with others as well if you would like. The more reach I can get the happier I will be. Here is the link. Facebook
I will be photographing people a lot more, so if you need some photo work feel free to contact me. Sports, events, whatever you may need I am willing to do as well, just contact me.
That covers things for right now, until next time. Have a great day/night everyone!
