I can spot a fake a mile away. Being raised around crack heads and con artists, I have probably seen just about every thing there is to see. And for the life of me, I cannot figure out what makes people be dishonest.

One of the things that bothers me most is when someone walks up to me and ask how my ex is doing. Now there are people that do not get to talk to her and have not seen her since we split. For those people, I always pass the message on to her and give the others her response. I do not have to worry about "her" friends asking her how I am doing though, usually they just say is he dead yet. Well I hate if for all of those, because no, I'm still kicking.

Now, back to the ones that live here. There are a few so called friends that every time they see me want to know how my ex is doing. They walk up and say " How is your ex, I have not talked to her in years" knowing cotton picking well that they just talked to her the day before. Some will go as far as to exaggerate even more by saying they have been trying to get in touch with her but she would not respond. Liar Liar pants of fire!!!!! She and I were together for 23 years. We were high school sweet hearts. Although she will go to a great extent to cover her tail, she has always been open with me about others. And she will willingly tell me that she knows just about every thing that I do. There is no hiding it in this small town. She also tells me who told her.

So, what makes people lie like that? Is it like that in other places around the world, or was I just so lucky to be surrounded by the world's biggest liar's? Have a great day everyone.

Christmas Thoughts

What does Christmas mean to you? Although there are some that may not believe in this holiday, do not get offended by my remarks. I believe in this holiday, just as I believe there is good in the human race.

The word Christmas has always brought thoughts of happiness inside my head. From the excitement that I had as a 4 year old, to the excitement that I have for my daughter, it is the most peaceful time of the year.

The days leading up to this holiday are sometimes filled with stress, headaches, and thoughts about how you are going to pay for things after the holidays. You have parties to attend and parties to give. Many seem to lose track of time. But one thing for sure, on the night before Christmas, it seems that everyone knows something good is happening. Families will be together as one, and children will be filled with excitement, in hopes that they might receive something special when they awake the next morning.

Moms and dads will not worry about a lot of things on this day. The joy of seeing the happiness in their child, will wipe away all worries, if only for a short moment. Grandparents will get to see their grandchildren and those that we all love will find their way into our heart for a short moment. Even if it is only in thought, they will still be with us on this day.

The good in one's heart is easily accessible during this time of year. You see those that have plenty, helping those that do not have. You see people volunteering to feed the homeless, some do not have much more them self. Children are adopted by families, even small children give what they can to help others. It is truly a day of Peace on Earth and Goodwill Toward Men.

Across the oceans in a land that I have never seen before, are my fellow Americans. They have picked up a weapon and are standing post over my freedom. They will not be with their family on this holiday. Yet they are the greatest givers of all. For it is the men and women who have shed their blood for us. That has given us this great freedom that we have.

During the next few days I would like all of my fellow blogging friends to write a post on what Christmas means to you. For those that do not believe or have other beliefs, write a post on what your holiday means to you also. I promise you , if you leave me a link, I will read it. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday. If you haven't already, do something to help the ones that may not have this year. Show them that the human race still has a heart. Like the song says, "If we all would light just one little candle, what a bright world this would be"

Market Leverage can bite me.

There are a few things that have been bothering me lately. So I am going to use my blog here to discuss them. To most of you they are meaningless, but to me they really get on my nerves.

Let me start with Market Leverage. For those of you that do not know, this is a online advertising company that many people are using to make money online. So, I figured I would sign up and see what it is all about. What I did not know was you had to be able to talk on the telephone. Let me explain a little further for those of you that do not know. I am hearing impaired. I can hear, but I cannot hear like a normal person. I have to use certain equipment in order to hear, aka hearing aids. Well my hearing aids have been giving me problems for a while now and still to this day they are back at the manufacturer being repaired for the 4th time. Sounds like a personal problem huh? Actually it is, because it is no one's fault that I cannot hear.

So I get a phone call from a representative at Market Leverage. I did not answer the phone call because I know that I will not be able to hear what the person on the other end is saying. I immediately get a email from the person that called, leaving their number for me to call and their email address. I email them back and explain my situation trying to give them a hint that I cannot hear via telephone. I get a response that says when I get my hearing equipment fixed so that I can hear, to give them a call. The next day I get one of these automated emails from the so called President of the company telling me they were unable to approve my registration.

This is not something that I am going to lose any sleep over. I have signed up for many companies and not made a dime. It was just something that I thought I would look into. It just gets on my nerves when I am put in a position were I have to rely on my hearing. So if anyone out there knows anything about Market Leverage, is it a internet marketing company, or a telephone marketing company? When did hearing become a requirement for internet marketing?

Don't look down on the company because of anything that I say. I face these things everyday. I have been unemployed basically for a year or more, mainly because of my hearing. It is something that I have learned to deal with. So what little I make online is my only means of income at the moment. That is why I love the internet so much. It is the only place that I can carry on a conversation and actually understand what people are saying. Have a nice day everyone.

Sunday Ramblings

I hope everyone is having a good day today. There is no doubt that many of you are suffering from a hangover. My twitter account is full of tweets from people that just want silence for a while. If you are not following me, here is the link to my profile.

This week has been a busy week in the news. I am sure a few books will be written about some of the top stories.

How to totally screw up at being a Governor by Rod Blagojevich.

The most famous Jackson by Jesse Jackson Jr.

Stupidity of a Mom by Casey Anthony.

My little girl and I had a wonderful weekend together. We finally put the tree up. She spent most of the day making her own decorations for it. I have to admit, she did a great job. I was going to post a photo, but will have to wait until she is completely finished with it. Talk about a perfectionist in the making, she is definitely one. She loves it when I give her complete control over a project like this. It gets a big smile out of me also.

It is less than two weeks before Christmas. Many of you will be running here and there trying to finish up your holiday shopping. Some, like myself will just be starting it. Which ever it may be, make sure that you all are careful. There seems to be an abundance of idiots no matter where you go. Try to stay clear of them and stay safe.

Has anyone told you they loved you today? I do. Have a good day everyone, time to watch some football and spend some time with my daughter. Till next time, I am outta here.

Holiday Stress and Blogging

I do my share of reading other websites on the internet. I have been doing it for quite a while. Lately I have read many post where people were talking about brain freeze or they just could not think of anything to write about. I have also read a few post where others have picked up on this and offered their advice about what to do when this happens. I am going to try and stay away from telling you how to write your blog. Besides, it is your blog you can do what ever you want to with it. What I would like to discuss is why these things may come about.

Stress
Stress is one of the main reasons your brain stops functioning on a normal level. With the holidays approaching and the economy not doing to well, there is a great deal of stress every where. So when you sit down and just cannot keep your mind on what you are doing because of your brain wondering off into la la land, most likely it is stress related.

Focus
Not being able to focus on one particular thing during this time of year is also common. It leads to what I talked about earlier, stress. There are so many things that have to be done and so little time to do them. It is not hard to lose your focus on things. As the holidays get closer and closer, many of you will lose focus even more. Don't sweat it though. You have two more weeks and then it will all be over with.

Gender
I am not trying to be rude, but it seems that females take the brunt of all the stress during the holidays. The blogs that I read that are having brain freeze and not feeling it are all written by female authors. That is because they are trying to do something that they love to do(blog), and take care of the rest of the world at the same time. I have read so many blogs where ladies are baking, planning, shopping, searching for bargains, taking care of the children, and trying to blog also. I would advise them to go ahead and say what is really on their mind. But the male population might not be too happy with that.

Conclusion
No matter what your reason is for having brain freeze; do not stress out about having brain freeze because you are stressed out. Just get away for a while. Go to a park and just sit and watch others for a while. If you are shopping, have a seat and just watch the others stressing out and rushing. You might even get a good laugh out of it. Give things a few more days and you will not see much talk about brain freeze. You are going to see a lot of venting on some of these blogs. That is when I gets to be a lot of fun reading them.

My Princess Diana

Here is a little slide show with some photo's of me and my little girl. Her mother is already in jail on the suspicion of killing the little girl.

Would it be against the law to cut this woman's fingers off and throw her in a shark tank? If it is then they should change it. Someone that could do such a horrible thing to a child has no business in my universe.

Children are the greatest thing on this planet. The problem is, they are not strong enough to defend them self. And you are hearing more and more things like this every day. It is just too sad. I know there are a lot of people that do not agree with the death penalty. There are some crimes that may not justify it. But when it comes to killing or harming a child, the quicker the better.

I hate calling people names but I just cannot help but think what might have been going through that child's head while her mom was possibly killing her. Someone that is suppose to love and care for her, not take her life away. Her mom does not even fit in the moron category. What would you call someone that does something like this, any suggestions?

Moron for a Governor

The news media wants to know who was involved with the Illinois Governor so bad that they cannot stand it. It seems that they have a itch to try and link this to Barrack Obama. Well they might as well keep on itching, because that is not going to happen.

What has happen is someone has tried use the old political practices that have been going on for years, and ran into an administration that is not going to put up with it. The lobbying for money deals will not work anymore. I truly believe that this guy was ratted on by someone in this administration. When and if they release the identity of this person, they should give him/her a medal.

Our Government is corrupt. You have a Governor on tape talking about what committees makes the most money, how valuable Senate Seats are and his wife in the background using works that she probably does not know the meaning of. It reminds me of watching the movie the Distinguished Gentleman. Whoever wrote the script for that movie had it right all along.

Although I know the news media will not do it, I would like to say thanks to who ever ratted this moron out. Who ever they are, they are true Americans. We need a lot more of the people in politics that see these type of things to do the same. I am sure other taxpayers will be happy to fund new prisons to house these scum bags.

Morning Hunt

Awakened by the sound of a screeching door, it was morning already. The day that would be one of the most remembered days of my life had begun. The urge to fall back to sleep was over come by the smell of freshly brewed coffee and cooked bacon. The heaviness in my eyes quickly faded, and the excitement of the day ahead set itself in.

Standing in the kitchen was an older lady. The years had taken its toll on her, yet everything that she did, was with happiness. She was cooking from a wood burning stove. The crackling of the fire and the warmth of the air that surrounded it, made the morning chill quickly leave and replaced it with a feeling of calmness. Soon the door opened and a rush of cold air filled the room once again. Standing at the door was the man that she had spent over fifty years of her life with. Together they had lived their entire lives in happiness.

As he removed his coat and hat, the table was still empty. No one was allowed at the table until he took his place. As he sat quietly it was time for me to take my seat at the table also. On the table that morning was more choices of food than had ever been witnessed by me in the morning time. Fried Chicken, eggs, bacon, sausage, homemade biscuits and a bowl of honey. Daybreak still an hour away yet this lady had found the time to cook this wonderful feast. The man did not say anything, there was food on the table, that meant it was time to eat. Finally the silence was broken when the lady sat down beside me. She asked if I received a good nights sleep. Yes ma'am I answered, as I finished the last of the meal that she had prepared.

After finishing his meal the man finally spoke. Asking me who I was hiding from under the covers that morning. Answering, I explained that I was hiding from the cold, and the cold kept me from adding more wood to the fire. He asked if I was ready to hit the road, ready whenever you are I explained. We both got up and headed to the door to get our coats. The lady spoke informing us to be careful. Telling me to make sure I wear my gloves so that my hands would not get cold. Walking out into the morning air I was met with the smell of burning wood. Mixed with the cold morning air, it is a smell that you never forget.

Traveling down the old country road, happiness and excitement overcame me. For so long I had wanted to be like this man, and today I had the privilege of walking in his foot steps. We had traveled as far as possible by vehicle. It was time to take the rest of our journey on foot.

Surrounded by nothing but silence and Oak trees, I was lead to a path that would take me to the place he had always talked about. Walking down that path he talked about how his father had taken him to the same place many times when he was younger. Sixty years or more had passed, and he still felt like this was the greatest place on earth.

Finally, we arrived at our destination. Surrounded by the tallest Oak trees I have ever seen, the man informed me that he would leave me there alone. Watching him disappear in the distance, I rested myself on a fallen tree. Silence was overcome by the sound of the birds singing. Combined with the trickling of water flowing down the stream; creating a melody, that will play in my mind forever.

Although Silver and Gold can buy many gifts in life, it is the gifts that are handed down to children and grandchildren, that shall be remembered forever. This is the gift, that my grandfather gave to me.

Business Loans

Most people that are looking for business loans are going to the government these days. Seems like they are will to give just about anyone money, except for the small business. It also seems that the banks that were bailed out do no want to lend any of that money out either. There are other ways that you can get cash if you are in dire need. Onlinecheck.com offers cash advances on your future credit card sales. You can get these loans with no closing cost or extra fees. I am not sure how the interest rates compare to other loans, so I will let you be the judge of that. They are changing interest rates as such a fast past, I am wondering how anyone keeps up with them.

I am no expert on finances and do not want to pretend to be. I do know that there are times when people need to get their hands on cash without a lot of hassle. That little bit of cash can sometimes save the day for many. So take a look at your options. The way the economy is today, there are not many left.

Illinois Governor Busted

Looks like the Illinois Governor has bit off a little more that he can chew. Federal Authorities arrested him this morning at his home.

It has been said all along that some of the biggest and most corrupt people in our country are in politics. Lately it has been proven. This guy has to beat them all though. Not only was he looking for money for himself, he was looking for a job for his wife also.

What I am interested in hearing is who was doing the bidding on this. He would not have made all of those remarks without having a buyer out there. There had to be a window of opportunity there and he was doing a good job of taking advantage of it. He also was looking for a cabinet post. Who was he looking to appoint him to the cabinet?

What is the penalty for corruption like this in the government? Maybe we should call China and ask what they would do. The choice of punishment would be our best bet with this one. I tried to write a post, but like I said earlier, my brain just would not work. A friend of mine suggested that I write about the great state of North Carolina. Instead I think I will write about the my home town here. So below are a few things that you should really know about the place that I live.

1. Fish continue to grow even after they are caught. If it was caught today at five pounds, next week it would be ten.
2. Every hunter and non-hunter has seen the world record white tail deer at least once right here where I live at. (including me)
3. Women do not like each other here very much. They can always find some kind of name to call the others that is not in the dictionary.
4.There are more preachers than people going to church.
5. Half of the population wants to keep you out of hell, the other half tells you go go there.
6. There is only one, four lane highway here. The other roads are reserved for vehicles going less than 25 mph
7. If you are looking for someone, all you have to do is go to Wal-mart. If they are not there, someone there will know where they are.
8. There are more drugs in the local high school than there are in the 10 pharmacies we have.
9. McDonalds is the busiest place in town.
10.And this is my favorite one of all, you never need to worry about losing your mind as long as you live here. If you ever forget what you have been doing, I am most certain that there is someone that can tell you.

My Brain is on Strike

For those of you that may have come looking for some type of intelligent blog post, you will have to come back a little later on. As of right now my brain is not functioning correctly. Every time I try and type something my brains ask me what did I say that for or have you lost your mind typing that. I am not giving in to it though. So I figured I would write what ever my brain tells me not to.

Do any of you have this problem? My brain tells me that I am the only one but I think it is wrong. How many times have you spent writing something only to delete it? I bet there is more than one of you.

As you can probably tell I am really bored. Living the single life is not fun at all. My little girl is with her mom until Friday so I have a few more days to go. So if any of you want to come hang out, you are welcome to do so. Just bring some food with you. I think I have eat everything in the house today. Well that is it for now, I shall be back once my brain decides to come off strike

Dallas Cowboys Choke

The Dallas Cowboys can kiss my tail. For the life of me I cannot figure out why they cannot finish a game like they are suppose to. Pittsburgh scores two touchdowns in 26 seconds to win the game 19 to 13.

If the Cowboys were a bad team with no talent it would not bother me that much. But these guys are loaded with talent. For some reason though they play like they are playing little league football. They are the worst prepared team in the game when they play, yet they still manage to get a win every now and then. But when the game is close, you can tell that they are not coached and taught the game correctly. Rule number one, take care of the football!!!

Some one really needs to tell that fat guy that calls himself the coach that you win the game by leading in points. Not by leading in turnovers, mistakes, and stupid decisions. Now I got to hear it from all my friends for the rest of the week thanks to them Cowboys. Maybe they should take some lessons from their cheerleaders on how to act like a team. Go Redskins!!!!!! (not in your wildest dreams)

Search Engine Enhancement of osCommerce

I have spent a lot of time researching different ways to get into the online money making business.I have found many that work and many that do not. No matter which road you take trying to make money, you need to make sure you understand a few concepts about what makes people succeed. No matter how many times other may tell you different. 9 out of every ten times the search engines are going to be your number 1 key to success. Make money online is a one keyword that get a lot of hits from the search engines. Everyone wants to do it. And if you have a blog, it is not hard to bombard it with back links where people link to you with that keyword. People are doing that everyday. Many have been caught by Google also and have been penalized.

What if you are using you skills to create online store. Many people have specialty products that they are trying to market, some are affiliates that are marketing other products. How do you get maximum search engine results from e-commerce solutions like osCommerse. There are many solutions out there when you are looking for osCommerce SEO. Many will claim that they are the best in the business. But if you are not getting the page rank that you deserve, maybe you should be looking else where. Magic Seo Url is one option you may want to look into. No matter how you may have modified your shopping carts, or whether you have many other add-ons, Magic Seo will work for you.

Traffic Tips

I thought that I might be the only one that did a lot of posting on my blog. Sometimes I will post three or four times a day. I do not feel uncomfortable about this because I am people are reading it. I also get a lot of comments. Many of my comments do not come via my blog. They will come through twitter or my instant messenger. I use both of twitter and instant messenger quite often. Both are good social networking tools.

Whenever I create a blog post I try to send it to everyone on my contact list. I send it through twitter, facebook, IM and many times if I feel that there are others I want to read it, I will send it through email. All of these are great ways to increase traffic, so if you have not tried it, do so. You might get more hits than you think.

I need a SpoofCard

Everyone has a reason to use a SpoofCard every now and then. Many of you are probably saying what the heck is a SpoofCard. Sometimes blocking the phone from which you are calling from is a way to get others to answer the phone. But when you can change what they see on their caller ID it is a better way to get them to answer. Parents, when you are trying to get in touch with your teenagers, and they do not answer. Go to www.spoofcard.com and get you one. That way you can use a number that you know they will not ignore. So when you call them, they will answer it.

Changing the caller ID on people can be fun. And there is no way they can track it back to you either. It is also legal and you can actually change your voice from a male to a female or female to male. Go get you a spoofcard. You never know when you might actually need it.

Time to just Ramble

JFK's daughter wants Hillary's seat in the Senate. Hey, that is a good idea. I am sure that she can just as good of job as the rest of them at doing nothing. How hard can it be? I myself think they should give it to Britney Spears. What better way to find out exactly what a Senator does and does not do. As much media coverage as she gets, there will not be a minute of her term that will not be photographed or documented. (just kidding)

There was a story on CNN about a unemployed executive that was wearing a cardboard sign and handing out resumes. I really hope that this guy gets a job. He has a lot of courage. The sign that he was wearing said almost homeless. What I am wondering though is how many homeless people did they pass when they went to interview this man. Correct me if I am wrong but when did almost homeless become a more important thing to talk about than homeless?

Our Government has to many morons in it. How can Congress and the White House hand out 700 billion dollars and not ask any question, yet they have been arguing for weeks over 35 billion. Then they have the nerve to embarrass these CEO's by telling them not to fly their corporate jets to the next meeting, they should be more conservative with their money since they are having financial problems. Congress should follow their own suggestions. Next time they need to take a trip overseas or across country, canoes and bicycles are very cheap. Maybe if they would pedal and paddle for a while with the tax payers money they could save a little of our money.

The Supreme Court is suppose to look at whether Barrack Obama is legally eligible to become our next president. Why do they wait till someone is elected and then try to answer these questions. I guess they treat this sort of like the government treated the economy. Lets just wait till he wins and then see whether he is eligible or not. Like the Government waited till America got in the worse situation they have ever been in before they do anything about it. Get over it people, he won the election, let him be President.

That is enough for me on this Saturday night. I have seen them used in many different locations. I get use the name construction because that is were I most likely see them. Although they are used widely in many other locations also.

If you search for Acton Mobile Office Trailers , construction trailers Louisville, KY you will see that there are many different styles that are available. They are the most cost efficient way to set up a temporary office facility and they can actually house more than one staff member. On site management is a must in many fields and with the availability and speed of set up, nearly everyone is using them.

As with anything that will be used for public use, there are laws that need to be looked at. You can be assured that OSHA and other State and Local inspectors will have no problem with the construction of these facilities. If you are looking for something bigger, you can also get commercial size buildings that will pass all State and Local Standards also.

Most of the work I do is in the masonry business. The heat gets to me. I always like it when they have a nice cool air conditioned construction trailer on the site. I can always find some reason to head inside.

Facebook Friends

For those of you that may have been on my friends list in facebook. I have spent the last few minutes looking at the video above about how easy it is to use. My little girl would actually love having something like that. I would not mind it myself. How many times have you started to type something and then forgot what you was going to type? That happens to me a lot. With Dragon Naturally Speaking, all you have to do is talk and the program does the rest for you. I like the video of the guy talking outside. Computer programs are so cool these days. I just would not want to be hooked up to it while I was driving. I don't think the words I say then are in any vocabulary. But then again, if I decide to get it, I will be sure to find out.

There are many things that can help us bloggers do a better job. Well we have a winner. Chosen by Random.org the winner is Carlota at carlotaonline.com. I took all of the entries and gave them a number. If you entered more that once by posting it on your blog, you also had a number for that one also. Carlota was number 4 , that was the lucky number. I want to thank you all for entering and stay tuned for a lot more contest coming up in the future. Entrecard has informed me that the credits have been transferred, so congrats to Carlota!!!!!

Vacation for the Holidays anyone?

Are any of you going on vacation during the holidays? I need to go on one now. If you are heading to the New Jersey area you need to check out Jersey Shore and Wildwood hotels.

Morey's Piers in Wildwood USA is the hot spot to be at when you visit New Jersey. With its amusement park and other boardwalk attractions there is plenty to do. And from December 1st to January 9th you can save up to 40% off of season passes to both parks. Amusement parks are so much fun to take the children to. They get excited and can go all day with out taking a break. It is also good for the adults also. Because when they leave, they are always so tired that they can hardly stand. It lets them know that they are still alive.

So we now know that you are going to New Jersey for a Jersey Shore beach Vacation. We know that you are going to go to Morey's Piers and ride all of the rides. So the next question is who is going to take me with you? I have a blogging friend that lives up in Jersey. May I should give her a call and we can go and do some blogging from there. That would be a lot of fun.

No matter where you go on your Christmas Vacation, make sure that you are safe and make sure you have a lot of fun.
